There's Something Oysters Want To Tell You

I admit I am a seafood lover. I can eat as much as a large platter of combined sauteed shrimps, fried fish, grilled squid, steamed crabs and baked oysters in one sitting. We all know that they are good sources of nutrients and vitamins. But do you know that oyster in particular can give consumers the potential hazard associated with eating raw or undercooked oysters? Although they are not life-threatening to individuals, it is best to be aware of the consequences of raw oysters consumption. A recent research found out that serious illnesses may occur from Vibrio vulnificus bacteria. If you are not 100% healthy and are suffering from certain diseases like liver malfunction, diabetes or weak immune system, then it is extremely important to be cautious and be oyster aware. Remember, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.
