Funny Filipino American Idol

Check this out. It's very entertaining.
I was surprised when one of the American contestants is a Filipino. He was extemely hilarious when it was his turn to show his talent for singing. My husband immedietely recognized him as a Filipino. I never thought him as one. I thought he's from Thailand or Vietnam. Days later I saw his video in youtube and he made a lot of attention to video viewers. There I discovered he is Renaldo Lapuz, a Filipino. He really did stole the show Wednesday night on American Idol. He sang his self-composed song, “I Am Your Brother, Your Best Friend Forever”, which was a massive hit with the judges.
He worshiped Simon Cowell as if he were a god and had Paula Abdul grinding up on him.

Maja

It's been five days since I made the mango float but it was still in the refrigerator almost untouched. I thought hubby will like it but I was wrong. I was the only one eating it until I decided to get rid of it. I made maja (Filipino dessert). I really miss those famous desserts in my country. I got the recipe in a pinay forum and the outcome of the recipe was perfect. I love it! I really do. Anyway, we had a great time watching TILA. We always look forward every Tuesday night because of the reality TV show TILA TEQUILA. It's about a bisexual girl who wants to settle down but confused on her sexual preference. She has bunch of lesbians and guys to choose from. It's always fun watching the dogfights and the catfights of the hopeless romantic lesbians and gorgeous guys.

Beauty and the Geek

Me and hubby had a great time watching our favorite reality show. We have seen season 1 and 2. My favorite part of the show is the transformation period and the complete makeover which the geeky guys have gone through. It really makes a huge deference when those nerdy guys in glasses waxed their hairy body, wear contacts instead of those thick glasses and cut their hair with a new look. We spent the whole afternoon cuddling and tickling in the couch during commercial break. I had enough of it but he makes it a habit of tickling me everyday. Seems like he has nothing much to do, no stories to tell or no jokes to crack or maybe he has ADD now? Oh my God! Does hubby need more attention? Am I not giving him enough? Hahaha... I have to ask him about that.

A Quiet Afternoon

I was enjoying the new dance exercise DVD when the power went out. Grrrrr! I hate it. With nothing much to do, I decided to indulge myself in a hot bubble bath and read a good book (Bloodline by Sidney Sheldon). It was a very quiet afternoon. I could hear people walking on the street, talking, kids playing on the basketball court, some yelling, the sound of the car, etc. It took four hours before the power went back. Thank God, I still managed to watch my favorite afternoon Divorce Court shows.

Very interesting site to see

Wow! Can't believe I've been sitting for 3 hours looking at this particular website (http://www.videojug.com/) A friend of mine gave me this link and it's worth spending my Saturday aftenoon just browsing this very informative site while my hubby was watching his favorite football game on TV. The site has almost everything, whatever topic you want. My three hours were spent watching videos of many delicious recipes. I was even taking notes of 3 desserts (Classic Chocolate Mouse, American Cheesecake, Creme Caramel) that I want to try one of theses days. They look so yummy and seem very easy to make. I will surely get some ingredients in the grocery tonight. No reason not to make those recipes. Hehehe...

Here's a sample of dessert demo:
